New POTION video unveils the methodology behind the POTION Cyberball Experiment

We are excited to announce the release of a new video from the POTION project that delves deep into the methodology behind our immersive VR Cyberball experiment. This video provides a comprehensive look at how the experiment was conducted, offering valuable insights into the research process.

The POTION Cyberball experiment is designed to explore the effects of human emotional chemosignals on social inclusion and exclusion behavior.  The participants of the POTION VR Cyberball study were engaged in the Cyberball game while being exposed to the human emotional chemosignals delivered through the POTION Delivery Systems.  The effect of the human emotional chemosignals on social inclusion will be evaluated based on the frequency of the ball being passed to the excluded player.

In this newly released video, viewers will get an understanding of how the experiment was structured, the tools and technologies used.

Stay tuned for more updates from the POTION project as we continue to uncover new insights into the science of social connection and emotion.
